Operations Officer Training Course is a Success

This week saw UKOMA hold its latest Operations Officer training course, and for the first time at the Harpenden House Hotel near London Luton Airport. The week long course has been created by the Association and tailored to the unique needs of the industry. With the assistance of lecturers from 9 organisations, 22 students enjoyed both theory and practical tuition to acquire the desirable skills to work in a busy Airline Operations department, from crew scheduling to manual flight planning. The highly accredited course attracted students from 13 UK based airlines, many being funded by their employer as an invaluable training asset to the Company and employee progression. Students from Titan, West Atlantic, Jet2.com, easyJet, BA Ciryflyer, BAe, Thomson, London Executive, Acropolis Aviation, Links Air, Cello, Met Office and ACL all made the grade and left with another qualification under their belts.
